Dr. Rezaei Abbassi is a board certified ophthalmologist that specializes in cataract and refractive surgery. He attended UCI for his undergrad studies and graduated with a dual B.S. degree in chemistry and neurobiology. He went on to attend medical school and training in ophthalmology in Syracuse New York, were he taught and mentored his fellow residents in cataract surgery. After completing his training he returned to his native OC and joined Atlantis Eyecare, a large and growing cataract and refractive surgical practice. Dr. Abbassi understands the importance vision plays in his patients lives and is honored by the trust patients place in his hands. He works hard to understand the qualities that make up excellent vision in order to give his patients the best vision. He continually improves his knowledge and surgical skills by attending lectures and conferences. Dr. Abbassi doesn't settle for anything less than perfect in his surgeries and treats each of his patients like family. His promise to his patients has always been and still is hands you can trust in cataract surgery.
